Price:
- The NutriBullet will cost nearly $50 more than a Nutri Ninja. You will find the biggest price difference when shopping at Bed, Bath & Beyond. When shopping at Amazon.com, the price difference between the two blenders is not nearly as large, but expect the Nutri Ninja price to continue to fall at Amazon.
- Each blender operates at 900 Watts of power. Overall, the blending ability of each blender are nearly equal. Results from blending ice, fruit, and leafy greens will be about the same. If I had to give an edge to a blender, I would choose the Nutri Ninja. Smoothies come out smoother with the Nutri Ninja, this is likely due to an improved blade design
- I prefer the sleek design of the Nutri Ninja over that of the cylindrical NutriBullet. With the Nutri Ninja you will get a sharp looking appliance that would fit in any modern kitchen. The NutriBullet 900 is still appealing, but it just not suit my tastes as much.
- More functions and features can be found in the NutriBullet 900. With the NutriBullet, you will have the ability to set the blender into an auto-blend function by just pressing down. For the Nutri Ninja, you can only pulse blend, meaning manual control is always required. Also, the NutriBullet 900 comes with a 32 oz blending cup, allowing for multiple servings of smoothies at one time.
- The Nutri Ninja wins out for me as the two blenders. While the NutriBullet may offer a few more features, I ultimately want the best blender for the best price. With that said, the Nutri Ninja Pro Blender is not perfect, but it does a remarkable job at blending single serving smoothies for one low price.

- Only Able to Pulse Blend.
- Will Not Blend Everything Perfectly.
NutriBullet Pro 900 Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Power. Also has 900 Watts of Blending Power.
- Better at Milling Things into a Flour.
- 32 oz. Blending Cup Allows for Multiple Servings.
- Auto Blend Function.
- Blade Design inferior to that of Nutri Ninja.
- Price is Higher, nearly $150 Total Price.
- Customer Service for NutriBullet can be Sketchy.
- Not as Good at Blending Seeds in Smoothies.
Price difference is less spread than it first appears, considering what comes with each one. Ninja $90 vs Nutribullet $130, but the Nutribullet comes with a second blade and another cup. According to Ninja website, that would cost another $37, plus shipping, so the prices are nearly comparable, with maybe the Nutribullet ending up less. I like the 32 oz Nutribullet cup because leafy greens don't get caught at the top. The bottom line for me is smoothness of the blend, especially with veggies like kale, carrot, and other fibrous foods. I am looking for the smoothest blend. I like that you can run the Nutribullet hands free, but how much better is the Ninja at breaking down the tough veggies in to a smooth consistency, on a scale of 1-10, compared to the Nutribullet 900?
ReplyDeleteThe 32 oz cup is a nice addition to the NutriBullet, you are absolutely right on that.
DeleteIn my view, the Nutri Ninja would receive: 7.5 out of 10 on breaking down things.
The NutriBullet would score closer to: 6 out of 10.
Of course the Vitamix would receive a 9.9 out of 10.
