• After reviewing the Nutri Ninja Blender, I was eager to see what the Ninja Company would come out with next. I mean, the Nutri Ninja was an amazing blender: it was powerful, affordable, and compact. How could the Ninja Company ever one up this machine?

• Well, the Nutri Ninja Auto iQ attempts to do just that. It offers all the great features of the Nutri Ninja Blender, but with the added bonus of Auto iQ technology. Below I run through my thoughts on the Nutri Ninja Auto iQ. The prime question in my head is this, is the Nutri Ninja Auto iQ worth the extra cash?

Pros: 

• A Family Blender.  

• As weird as it seems, decent blenders made for the whole family are getting harder and harder to find. Now we have blenders designed for fitness lovers, blenders for dieters, blenders for raw vegans, blenders for chefs. How about a blender for a family? The Nutri Ninja Auto iQ will well suit your family with its easy to use functions, powerful motor, affordable price, and multiple blending cups.

• A Powerful Motor + Well Designed Blades = Success

• Plenty of blenders out there have powerful motors, but are limited in their blending ability by poor blade design. With the Nutri Ninja series of blenders, you'll find the best blades and blade design the Ninja Blending Company has yet released. The combination of a 1000 Watt motor spinning maximum efficiency blades leaves you with nearly flawless results for just about anything you could think to blend.

•  Auto iQ Simplifies Everything

• We all mess up in the kitchen. It may be burning the bread in the oven, it could be making too liquidy of a hummus, or it could be making a chunky smoothie. The Nutri Ninja's Auto iQ technology removes that 'human error' problem from the blending process. Just hit one of the two automated blending functions, and you'll be good to go. At the end of the blending process, your smoothie should be the perfect consistency.

• Blend & Send: On-the-Go Blending Cups

• If you need to blend for a family or a spouse, you absolutely need multiple blending cups. Ninja provides 3 different sized blending cups with this unit: a small 12oz cup, a regular 24oz cup, and a jumbo 32oz cup. Each of these blending cups can be loaded with your favorite fruits and ice, locked onto the Nutri Ninja blending base, blended up, and then be ready to go as a portable smoothie holder. No pouring and multi-step cleanup needed.

• One of the Easiest Blenders to Clean

• One of the things I hate about the Vitamix Blender is how difficult the blending pitcher is to clean. Since it is so large, I have to scrape every little nook and cranny to get it all cleaned up. The compact size of the Nutri Ninja Blending Cups makes cleanup so much faster and more efficient. Just add a bit of warm water and dish soap after you finish drinking your smoothie, pulse it a few times on the blending base, and rinse out. You're done. If you would like to use the dishwasher, no problem, the blending cups and blending blades are dishwasher safe.

Cons: 

• A Noisy Little Machine

• Be prepared for the noise. Honestly, I don't think this blender is all that much louder than most high powered blenders on the market. However, many people are surprised that this small of a machine can get as loud as it does. Avoid blending at the crack of dawn and you should be fine.

• Sturdiness 

• The Ninja BL482 loses a few points in my book due to its build quality. First, the machine rattles a bit on the counter while blending. To fix this, a rubber placemat is needed. Secondly, the plastic this blender is made out of feels a little on the 'cheap' side. Even if it may fall short of my standards, it carries out its sole job of blending exceptionally well.

Tips and Tricks of: Nutri Ninja Auto iQ

Purchasing:

• Amazon.com will provide the most convenient way to buy this blender for many. If you have Prime Membership, Amazon will deliver the Nutri Ninja to your doorstep in less than three days of ordering. Problem is, the price of the Nutri Ninja can swing up and down.

• Bed Bath & Beyond is another solid choice for anyone looking for the Nutri Ninja BL482 model. Pricing stays solid at BB&B, so expect to pay $120 when buying from them. 

• If you are willing to settle for a Nutri Ninja Auto iQ BL481 model, Walmart.com is a great place to pick it up. For only $110 you can snap up this powerful little blender. Keep in mind though, the BL481 model comes with one less blending cup than the BL482 model.

Operating:

• Don't Overpack Your Small Containers. Even if it seems like a good idea to pack as much nutritiously bountiful fruits as possible, leave a little free space. Last thing you want is mess on your hands that takes five minutes to fix.

• Be Sure to Use Water while Blending. Almost all smoothies need liquid in order to blend. Ice actually needs liquid water to turn into a nice smoothie consistency. Plenty of recipes exist online, but the best way to get a proper consistency is experimentation.

Maintenance and Cleaning:

• Rely on Rinsing and Blending for Most Cleaning. After finishing up your smoothie, do a quick rinse out in the sink, add warm soapy water to the blending container, and run the pulse setting a few times. Rinse out once again in the sink and leave the blender to dry. Your blender will be all clean after that.

• Use Dishwasher Once a Week for thorough Cleaning. Using the dishwasher for every cleanup of the Nutri Ninja is overkill. Nothing is more frustrating than realizing your blender is messy in the morning because you haven't yet ran the dishwasher. Weekly cleanings in the dishwasher will keep everything spick and span, but anymore than that is too much.

• The Nutri Ninja Auto iQ comes with a One Year Limited Warranty. Ninja's policy towards returns is not ideal, you may have to pay shipping charges for returns. Feel confident when buying though, Ninja products hold up much better than similar blender models (Nutribullet).

Value for Money? 

• The Nutri Ninja Auto iQ BL482 is a solid blender for anyone needing a sub-$150 machine. 1000 Watts of blending power packs a punch, and you'll be able to blend ice and fruit into a thick smoothie consistency in a matter of seconds. While there are a few downsides to this blender, the positives far outweigh its faults. If you need a blender to make smoothies for an entire family, I would highly recommend the Nutri Ninja Auto iQ. Overall, the Nutri Ninja Auto iQ receives 4 out of 5 stars.

Is the Nutri Ninja Duo superior to the Nutri Ninja Pro? Not really, while it may be more powerful, the higher price is not justified.

Pros: 

1. Power. The Nutri Ninja Blender Duo comes with a 1500 Watt motor, making it the most powerful blender in the Nutri Ninja Series. The Nutri Ninja Pro only has 900 Watts of Power in comparison. With all this power, you are going to be able to blend faster and more thoroughly than the lower-powered Ninja blenders.
2. Auto-iQ. Make Smoothies and Puree with No Effort. Essentially, the Ninja Auto-iQ Technology works best as an automated smoothie making machine. The puree function is nifty, but you may prefer more precision while pureeing.When blending, the blender will tell you how much time remains until the blending function finishes.
3. Blending Cups & Pitcher. The great On-the-Go Blending Pitcher is included with this set, and is the single best blending pitcher. You'll also find a 72 oz Blending Pitcher as well, to handle your larger blending needs like bean dips, icy drinks for parties, and bread doughs.
4. Speed and Simplicity. Blending has become even more simple with the Nutri Ninja Duo, thanks to the onboard computer and timing function. While Ninja includes a recipe book, you'll be more than free to customize recipes all on your own. When using preset functions, just load your blending pitcher up and hit the button; in less than a minute your blender will have completed the cycle.
5. Smoothies. Even though this blender comes with a 72 oz Blending Pitcher, this blender excels as a single serve smoothie machine. If you love to make smoothies bright and early in the morning, you'll definitely find the Nutri Ninja Duo an upgrade over almost all sub-$100 machines. Its power and smoothie function will liquify your fruits and ice to a great consistency in no time flat.
6. Easy Cleanup. All blending pitchers, cups, and blending blade are dishwasher safe. Just rinse off your blender pitcher and blending blades in the sink after blending, and throw them in the dishwasher. Be careful around those blending blades; they are sharp and can nick you while removing them.

Cons: 

1. Blending Base. There are a few flaws with this blending base. First and foremost, it is heavy, but still feels somehow cheap. Part of this is due to the fact the suction cups have to be used to secure the blender, even though it is already so heavy. Secondly, the metallic finish of the blender functions will smudge easily, which will annoy you, just give it time.
2. Price. Costing $200 or more, the Nutri Ninja Blender Duo is truly not meant as introductory model. It sits in an awkward place, on the one hand, the Nutri Ninja Pro costs less than $90, and can make smoothies nearly as well as the Nutri Ninja Duo. At the other end of the spectrum, a Vitamix Blender can be purchased for near $300, and will serve you far better than the Ninja.
3. Large Blending Pitcher. You're going to run into some unfortunate realities with the large Ninja Pitcher. First of all, it doesn't create a real vortex while blending, this means you will never get a 100% perfect blend when handling drier things like nut butters or bean dips. Secondly, its overall quality leaves a bit to be desired, the plastic build of it just feels somewhat lower quality than what you should be getting from a $200 blender.
4. Blades. If you're familiar with the Ninja upright blade system, you'll find it once again in the Nutri Ninja Duo. These blades have two major faults in my opinion: they're removable and layered. Since these blades are removable, you'll need to remove them while cleaning which is dangerous. Along with that, it is entirely possible that the blades may fall out while pouring a beverage with the lid off. Secondly, these blades just don't have the proper design to deliver a perfect or even 85%+ blend.
5. Lifespan. Perhaps this blender will last for a long time, but I have my doubts. The Ninja Company constantly pushes out new blender models, never quite perfecting and relying upon a standard issue. Following this line of thought, the warranty policy of the Ninja Company leaves a bit to be desired, especially compared to how Vitamix handles issues. Expect your larger pitcher and large blending blades to wear out, they have in previous blender models, so they will as they are the same recycled designed in the Nutri Ninja Duo.
6. Unfortunately, the other Ninja Autp-iQ functions don't make a whole lot of sense, pulse is self explanatory, but the 'Nutri Ninja Blend' and 'Nutri Ninja Ultra Blend' will leave you with questions. Thankfully, Ninja included a 'Low', 'Medium', and 'High' setting for this blender.

Nutri Ninja Duo vs. Nutri Ninja Pro

Price:

• More than $100 separates these two blenders. What exactly does all this extra money buy? Not much. First and foremost, the quality of smoothies made in the lower priced Nutri Ninja Pro will come out almost as good as the more powerful Nutri Ninja Duo. As an upgrade you'll find an underwhelming 72 oz blending pitcher and the Auto-iQ Technology.

Design:

• Nutri Ninja Duo: The Nutri Ninja Duo suffers from having too many features. At the end of the day, the 72 oz blending pitcher just isn't good enough to justify a $200 price tag. Now, the on-the-go blending pitcher is the exact same as the Nutri Ninja Pro's, which is a good thing. However, Auto-iQ really is not that big of a deal as a more inexpensive Auto-iQ Ninja exists.
• Nutri Ninja Pro: If you need a compact blender, go with the Nutri Ninja Pro. In an age of bulky blenders with tons of add-ons, a small and efficient blender is a relief for many of us. Blending is a simple affair, just pulse your smoothies until they're done.

Best for Whom?:

• Nutri Ninja Duo: 1. Multi-Taskers. The ease of just pressing a button and walking off to do other tasks is nice. 2. Multi-Purpose Users. If you need to make both smoothies and all sorts of other blended food, the Nutri Ninja Duo will better suit you. 3. Ninja Fans. The Nutri Ninja Duo does offer a few new cool features, namely the interface of the control panel and Auto-iQ.
• Nutri Ninja Pro: 1. Beginning-Mid Range Blender Fans. The Nutri Ninja is so simple a complete blending newbie could use it. 2. Price Conscious. At under $100, this blender is a great bargain for its powerful punch. 3. Smoothie Lovers. One of the most ideal blenders for smoothie lovers out there wanting to spend less than $300.

Overall:

• You will end up happiest by purchasing the more affordable Nutri Ninja. Assuming you're on the market for a mid-range blender upgrade, the Nutri Ninja will well suit your needs if you're mainly a smoothie maker. Now, if you absolutely need a large blending pitcher as well, the Nutri Ninja Duo is a fine blender to consider.

Value for Money? 

• Unfortunately the Nutri Ninja Duo is not the best deal in the world for those out there wanting a blender primarily for smoothie making purposes. Now, if you are on the market for a smoothie maker and general use machine, the Nutri Ninja Duo will do an adequate job meeting those needs. Pros: 

1. Jack of All Trades. With the Ninja Ultra Kitchen System, you are going to get a blender that covers just about every base in the blending market. Want a powerful blender with a large blending pitcher? Check. Want a food processor/blender combo? Check. Want a blender to make single serve smoothies? Check.
2. Powerful Blending. At 1200 Watts of Power and a 1.5 Horsepower motor, this machine is going to blend with vigor and speed. Fruits, beans, ice, and veggies will be finely chopped and liquidized if you so wish. Multiple blending speeds and a pulse setting to allow for as precise of a blend as you will need.
3. Price Point. Costing just shy of $200, the Ninja Ultra Kitchen System will not require a huge chunk of a paycheck to buy. While this would not make for a good starter blender, it would be a responsible choice if you are looking for a more powerful blender. While it lacks some of the features of the $400 Vitamix, it comes close in many fields.
4. Attractive Design. The Ninja 1200 Blender looks nice on a countertop. The blending base is well put together, and the black and gray colors are inconspicuous. The blending pitcher looks especially sharp with its square edges and right angles.
5. On the Go Smoothies. Most blenders above the $120 price point ditch the whole concept of single serve smoothies. Not the Ninja Ultra Kitchen System, it incorporates the traditional form of blending in large pitchers with the modern craze of single serve smoothies. Compared to the NutriBullet, the Ninja can hold its own. Smoothies come out the smoothest when making them in the single serve cups.
6. Cleanup is Simple Enough. Just remove the blending blades, rinse of the blades and the pitcher, and throw both into the dishwasher. You'll not encounter problems with little pieces of gunk catching beneath the blades since the blades are removable. All of the blending pitchers and blades wash easily in the dishwasher.

Cons: 

1. Blade Design. The tall blades in the 72 oz blending pitcher are not that great. They are sharp, and there are plenty of blades. However, the blades are not attached to the blender and can cause problems after finished with a blend. First of all, when pouring out drink contents with the lid off, the blades can easily fall out and cause a problem. Second, it is easy to accidentally prick yourself when handling these blades during the cleaning process.
2. Leafy Green Vegetables. If you want a perfect green smoothie made from kale or spinach, look elsewhere. The Ninja just can not get the job done, which is a real bummer. While it has all this power, it lacks sufficient vortex technology that the Vitamix employs to suck up all bits to the point of making everything into a complete liquid. You will end up having a smoothie with tiny bits of the green vegetables left over. Blending in single serve cups makes the problem less noticeable.
3. Food Processor. While it is nice to have this addition, it has a major design flaw. Most food processors have a feed chute to allow additions while chopping, the Ninja lacks this feed chute. If you already have a food processor, the Ninja will not offer anything better.
4. Noise and Stability. When you have a blender with a powerful motor, expect it to be noisy. For some reason, the Ninja Ultra seems especially noisy and unstable on the countertop. This is likely due to it not being 'heavy' enough to stabilize itself, instead relying on inferior suction cup technology for support.
5. Space Requirements. When you buy a blender that can do all these miracle tasks, it is going to take up a fair bit of space. Be ready to section off kitchen cabinet space for this machine, as it needs it. Both the 72 oz blending pitcher and food processor take up the most space.

Ninja Ultra 1200 vs. Nutri Ninja Blender

Price:

• More than $100 separates these blenders. For the Ninja Ultra Kitchen System 1200, you will be paying close to $200 for the complete package. The Nutri Ninja will cost you less than $80. For a $120 price difference, you really must weigh whether or not the Ninja Ultra justifies itself.

Design:

• One machine is compact, the other takes up a great deal of space. The Nutri Ninja will look the better blender on your kitchen countertop due to its sleek design. Both blenders are essentially the same when it comes to single serve design, so if that is your only interest, go with the Nutri Ninja as it looks nicer.

Functions:

• With the Ninja Nutri, you will only be able to make smoothies. The Ninja Ultra 1200 has so many more possibilities that it is almost no contest. Which makes the better smoothie? Both are about even, but the Ninja Ultra 1200 does have a bit more power behind it. When it comes to hummus, bread dough, chopped ice, or salsa, you will have to go with the Ninja Ultra.

Overall:

• If you are only interested in smoothies, save some money and go with the Nutri Ninja. If you want a Ninja Blender that can do all sorts of tasks in the kitchen, the Ninja Ultra Kitchen System 1200 well fits the bill. While the Ninja Ultra may be more powerful, the results of smoothies will come out near even.

The Ninja Kitchen System Pulse looks promising, but leaves much to be desired. Versatility is nice, but the lack of power disappoints.

Pros: 

1. Versatility of this Blender. Smoothies, dough making, salsa, and food processing are all within the scope of the Ninja Kitchen System Pulse. As a jack of all trades, this blender is definitely a master of none. If you need a compact tool to get a few things done, look into this blender.
2. Fruit Smoothies, making simple fruit and icy drinks will be more than possible. Bananas, fruit juices, and ice will all come together to make a rich and creamy smoothie for vegans. Seeds, vegetables, and leafy greens will not blend well.
3. Easy to Clean, everything is dishwasher safe. After finishing your blend, just rinse out the Ninja Kitchen System Pulse in the sink, remove the blending blades, and throw the pitcher and blades into the dishwasher.

Cons: 

1. Leafy Greens, don't expect to get perfect green smoothies. With 550 Watts of power, the Ninja Kitchen System Pulse is just not powerful enough to liquify the greens. Small chunks of the leafy greens will be left behind, making for an unappealing drink. I would recommend a green powder like Vitamineral Green if you want a green smoothie.
2. On the Go Blending Cups Design Flaw. Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to actually take the blending cups on the go with you. For some reason, the blending cups can't be fully sealed. If you were to try and take the blending cups with you, liquid will leak out! 
3. Strength of the Blender. At a price point near $80, the 550 Watts of Power is a bit lacking. You definitely can blend plenty of things, but a blender like the Nutri Ninja could be bought for the same price for a far more powerful blending experience.

Ninja Kitchen System Pulse vs. Nutri Ninja

Price:

• Both blenders will cost you less than $90. At a similar price point, I would recommend going with the Nutri Ninja. With the Nutri Ninja, you'll find find a more powerful and well built blender at no extra cost. If you want a blender that can double as a food processor, go with the Ninja Kitchen System Pulse.

Design:

• 900 Watts versus 550 Watts, which do you prefer? Power is what most separates these blenders, so choose between the more powerful Nutri Ninja or the less powerful Ninja Pulse Blender. As mentioned earlier, the Ninja Pulse has a design flaw with the on the go cups not sealing, but this problem does not exist for the Nutri Ninja cups.

Functions:

• For smoothie making, the Nutri Ninja wins without a doubt. More power and a better blade design make for smoothies that come out so much smoother. Making things like bread dough or salsa will be far easier in the Ninja Kitchen System Pulse.

Overall:

• The Nutri Ninja is the superior blender. If you never plan on making smoothies, the choice will be less clear. However, the faults of the Ninja Pulse Blender are too great to overlook since it will end up costing you the same as the Nutri Ninja.

1. Power, it's all about the power. 1000 Watts of power is a big step up for most buyers of budget blenders. Pulverizing ice, fruits, and vegetables will be an easy task with this much power at your disposal. You'll be able to choose from three different blending speeds and a pulse setting, covering the spectrum of blending needs.
2. Price, at under $100 this blender is a deal. Blenders with both 1000 Watts of power and a large blending container are not easy to find for one low price. For the $100, you will find the Ninja Pro Blender 1000 comes with a blending base, a 72 oz blending pitcher, a short recipe book, and a 1 year warranty.
3. Smoothies, the Ninja BL610 is great starting blender. If you began making smoothies after seeing a video on Youtube with an old blender in the kitchen, consider making the upgrade to the Ninja Pro Blender. It is best to upgrade in stages, you will save money in the end if your interest ever wanes before buying something like a Vitamix. Fruit smoothies and icy drinks come out great in the Ninja Blender.
4. Cleanup, the blending pitcher is dishwasher safe. After drinking your smoothie just rinse out the 72 oz pitching container and safely remove the blending blades, then throw the pitcher into the dishwasher. If you do not have a dishwasher, rinsing the blending pitcher out is a quick task.
5. Simplicity, all you need is the Ninja BL610 blending motor and blending pitcher. Most blenders on today's market come with tons of extras that end up taking valuable cabinet space. Other than the recipe book, the total package with this Ninja blender is perfect if you just want a blender for traditional blending jobs.

Cons: 

1. Leafy Greens, good luck trying to gets these liquified. Even with 1000 Watts of blending power, the Ninja Pro Blender 1000 can not get the job done. Small bits of the leafy greens will be left in your smoothies. Blade design here is a letdown, the traditional Ninja blade design just fails to chop every last bit of leafy greens. If you want to drink perfect green smoothies, I recommend using a green powder mix like Vitamineral Green.
2. Durability, this blender feels 'rickety'. Compared to a Vitamix blender, this machine seems poorly put together. As such, you should not expect the Ninja BL610 to last more than three or four years. For less than $100, it should be expected that the machine will wear out with time.
3. Be careful with blending blades, you may be nicked while cleaning this blender. With most Ninja blenders you have to remove the blades while cleaning, this can be dangerous with these sharp blender blades.

Ninja Pro Blender 1000 vs. NutriBullet Pro 900

Price:

• About $25 separates these blenders, with the Ninja Pro coming out as the more affordable blender. Be sure to take all factors into consideration before making the purchase, as these blenders do differ a great deal beyond the price point.
  

Design:

• Do you want a traditional blender or a smoothie machine? With the Ninja Pro BL610, you will get a blender made with a traditional design that looks nice on a counter. The NutriBullet works as a a top-down blender, meaning it is a bit more compact, but less attractive in my opinion. Cleanup of the NutriBullet is easier.

Functions:

• The Ninja Blender can perform tasks beyond smoothie making. Bean dips, nut butters, and crushing ice are all jobs better suited for the traditional design of the Ninja. The NutriBullet 900 is designed best for making smoothies, and does a better job at it than the Ninja.

Overall:

• If you want a standard blender for less than $100, go with the Ninja Pro Blender. You will still be able to make great fruit smoothies, but if smoothies are your prime concern, the NutriBullet 900 does do a better job.

Value for Money? 

There's plenty to like with the Ninja Professional Blender 1000. First, the price point to power ratio is one of the best deals currently on the market. If you're looking to make smoothies, hummus, and icy drinks, the Ninja will meet your needs. While it is not perfect, the Ninja makes for a good choice for a mid-range blender for anyone stuck between an old kitchen blender and a Vitamix. Overall, I give the Ninja Pro Blender BL610 a total of 3 stars out of 5.

Pros: 

The NutriBullet series of blenders have done it again, a newer and more powerful model has been released. Debate about the NutriBullet 900 still goes on, so I was surprised to see the NutriBullet Rx gaining more and more popularity on Amazon. Seeing all the upgrades the NutriBullet Rx offered, I was eager to see whether or not this model warranted an upgrade.

First and foremost, the NutriBullet Rx blends with a 1700 Watt motor. With nearly twice the power of the NutriBullet 900, the ability of the NutriBullet Rx to pulverize things is a marked improvement. Only a few blending challenges existed with the NutriBullet 900, notably difficulty in getting a perfect blend with leafy green vegetables. Now the NutriBullet can finally get the job done, leafy greens do blend quite well.

Design of the NutriBullet Rx solely in terms of the blending cups and blending base is an improvement. ***Read the Cons section below for my full thoughts on the NutriBullet Rx design*** Blending blades and the blending base of the NutriBullet Rx is an improvement over the NutriBullet 900, things are more likely to actually be chopped by the blades and not get lodged under them.

Requests for the NutriBullet to be able to blend hot soup has been a long running feature lodged by NutriBullet community. At last we have a NutriBullet blender capable of making these hot soups. It must be said though, the NutriBullet seems to create hot soups in a way different from the Vitamix. From what I can tell, the NutriBullet Rx uses a heating unit to bring the blended contents to a piping hot temperature. For the Vitamix, simple energy transfer from the blades to the liquid content create the hot temperature of the soup. Overall though, making hot soup in the NutriBullet Rx is a definite possibility and fulfills that long requested need.

Making smoothies is definitely the strongest point of the NutriBullet Rx. Folks love the NutriBullet an Magic Bullet because they make smoothies in cups that can be taken on the go. The NutriBullet Rx offers the happy medium between the power of a large blender like the Vitamix with the small portability of the Magic Bullet. Blending leafy greens, ice, and fruit will be no problem for the NutriBullet Rx, everything will be liquified.

Cons: 

For the most part, I tend to see more good in blenders than the bad. However, the current faults in the NutriBullet Rx can not be glossed over. Below I will rank the faults I have found in order of their importance:

1. Construction of the Blender. Many have reported their NutriBullet Rx blenders falling apart on them. Now, it is entirely possible that these blenders are breaking down due to improper care. Even if these blenders are only breaking due to faulty care, it is a major problem that this should ever happen. Risk of having a blender break down after a few months of use should be a warning to all before buying.


2. Warranty. Should your blender break down, you will want to use a warranty. As of 12/6/14, I can not in good faith promise a seamless warranty policy for this blender. The NutriBullet Company offers a One-Year Warranty with this blender, redeeming the warranty would hopefully work well for any that need use it.


3. Noise. Compared to previous models of the NutriBullet and Magic Bullet blenders, the NutriBullet Rx is far louder. Trying to make a smoothie early in the morning without waking in the house will be a problem.

Value for Money? 

If you want to possibly take a risk in order to get the most powerful model of the NutriBullet, go ahead and get this blender. While the power of the NutriBullet Rx, its ability to make hot soups, and nicely sized blending cups all make for an attractive blender package, the faults need to be considered. In order to maintain the NutriBullet Rx, the 'purported fix' of using the 'Blade Remove Tool' after each blend if far too repetitive. Overall, the NutriBullet Rx receives 2.5 stars out of a total of 5 stars.

Making rice on a daily basis should not be a pain. Too many people choose to not eat rice because it is a pain to make on the range day in and day out. Little do they know how much they are missing out. Rice is packed with fiber, fills the belly while keeping you slim, and is the perfect side dish.

Cooking with the Aroma 6-Cup Rice Cooker is as simple as flipping a switch. Load the selected rice into the Aroma Cooking Pot, add a measured amount of water proportional to the rice, place the steam lid over the pot, and flip the switch. In no less than thirty-five minutes will your rice be done, whether it is white rice or brown rice.

Don't have a full kitchen? It doesn't matter. This Aroma Rice Cooker takes up only a fraction of the counter. Live in a dorm? This rice cooker will work just fine in a dormitory if appliances that produce steam are allowed. Have to travel in a car and stay overnight at hotels? Spending over $100 on a high-quality rice cooker is such a risk. For less than $20 you will find a ready to use rice cooker. This makes it perfect for anyone just getting into the world of rice cooking. If you have a family member or friend interested in eating healthy and whole foods, an introductory rice cooker is one of the best introductions to a healthy diet. Take next to no risk with an appliance that costs so little.

Cleanup is no major concern. After all, you just need to clean up the stainless steel pot after cooking the rice. Also, you may need to wipe off the steam lid after the rice cooking process as boiling water may spatter the lid. Otherwise, rinsing out the stainless steel pot in the sink, and then placing the pot in the dishwasher should take care of your needs.

Cons: 

Don't expect to feed a family of four with this device. The Aroma 6-Cup Rice Cooker is small. Cooking for one, or maybe two people will be fine; however, a full family will be too much. Perhaps you could scooch by with just a small serving of rice for each family member, but it will simply not be enough to satisfy a hungry belly.

Occasional messes can happen due to the boiling water spattering against the top and coming out of the steam vent. In order to clean this up, keep a dish rag around the rice cooker in order to wipe up any mess that may have come up. 

Aroma 6-Cup Cooker vs. Aroma 8-Cup Cooker

Price:

• The Aroma 8-Cup Rice Cooker will cost you nearly twice as much money. While both Rice Cookers are a fantastic deal, only one of these appliances ends up coming in at under $20. Remember though, you get what you pay for.

Design:

• I prefer the design of the Aroma 8-Cup Rice Cooker. Between the two, the Aroma 8-Cup definitely looks a whole lot more attractive in the kitchen. Even though the price difference is small, the Aroma 6-Cup Rice Cooker looks cheaper than the Aroma 8-Cup.

Functions:

• More is to be found in the Aroma 8-Cup Rice Cooker. If all you want is a rice cooker that can cook both brown and white rice, both machines will work. However, if you want to cook a decent amount of rice at a time, make somewhat more complex dishes than rice, or get a better overall cook, the Aroma 8-Cup Rice Cooker comes out as the winner.

Overall:

•  Aroma made two worthy machines here, but the upgrade to the Aroma 8-Cup Rice Cooker is well worth the money. While the Aroma 6-Cup Rice Cooker does a fine job cooking rice, it fails to meet all of the features of the Aroma 8-Cup.

Unleashing the Ninja Mega Kitchen System 1500 will continue to surprise you with its myriad of pros. For a sub-$200 Blender, it is almost amazing that a single blender is able to offer so much for the price point. With most blenders some feature has to be sacrificed to get bonuses in a certain area. Vitamix Blenders are known for high powered blending. NutriBullet Blenders are known for making smoothies quickly for on-the-go blending. Ninja Blenders are known for being a utility blender with a unique trick or two. The Ninja Mega Kitchen System 1500 has the good elements of all these much loved blenders. 

Blending just about anything is possible with the entire setup of the Ninja Mega Kitchen 1500 Blender. The 1500 Watts of Power and 2 Horsepower Motor will provide enough power for the Ninja to blend ice, liquify fruits and leafy greens, and crush seeds. Even the toughest of leafy greens like kale and collard are no real issue, the greens liquify near completely (not to Vitamix perfection levels though). Any blending task that needs getting done, the Ninja will handle it.

Smoothie making is a true joy when customization exists. With the Ninja 1500 Blender, you will be able to blend massive smoothies in the 72 oz Blending Pitcher, or choose to make quick drinks in the Nutri Ninja Blending Cups. Now, 72 oz of smoothie will overwhelm just about anyone other than a competitive eater. If making enough smoothies for more than two people, the 72 oz Blending Pitcher works well.

For the day to day smoothie making, the Nutri Ninja Cups will suit you far better with their 16 oz capacity. Nutri Ninja Cups are simple, quick, and pack in the fruit and vegetable smoothie we all should try to drink every single day. As an added bonus, Ninja provides two Nutri Ninja Cups that are useful for a couple just getting into smoothies, or a mother and child trying to pick up fun healthy habits. Furthermore, the Nina already comes with a programmed function designed for blending smoothies in the Nutri Ninja Cups.

Beyond the drink making and daily smoothie blending, the Ninja offers even greater bonuses. In particular, the Ninja 1500 Blender provides an 8 Cup Food Processor. While the bonus Ninja Food Processor Pitcher will not beat out a high quality food processor, it will get the job done for just about any task. Beyond just chopping things like tomatoes, carrots, and onions, the Ninja will actually be able to mix dough. All be it, 8 Cups of dough mixing is not that much if you are making large amounts of cookies, bread dough, or pizza dough at any one time.

Cleanup of the Ninja BL770 ends up being a simple affair. Both the 72 oz Blending Pitcher and the 8 Cup Food Processor are the most difficult parts of the Ninja to clean. Now, this is due to both the removable blades being annoying to remove and the larger size of these pitchers. When cleaning though, just rinse out these pitchers and blades, then throw the components in the dishwasher on the bottom rack. The Nutri Ninja Cups are far easier to clean, you would be perfectly fine just cleaning them in the sink, but the dishwasher gets the job done more thoroughly.

Cons: 

Removable Blender Blades have their downsides. With the 72 oz Blending Pitcher and the 8 Cup Food Processor, you will have to deal with these removable blades. First of all, these blades are super sharp. You must be careful when removing them and messing around with contents inside the Ninja. It is all too easy to prick yourself when not paying enough attention while your hands are close to the Ninja 1500 Blades. Luckily, this issue does not exist for the Nutri Ninja Cups as the blades are much better positioned.

Ninja 1500 Blender vs NutriBullet 900 Blender

 Price:

• You will save more money going with the NutriBullet 900, nearly $60 more. Plenty of differences exist between these two blenders that justify the price difference. Most notably, the price of the Ninja Mega Kitchen System 1500 costs so much more due to the extra features of the NutriBullet. 

Design:

• When looking for a traditional blender, go with the Ninja 1500. The Ninja Mega Kitchen System employs a relatively standard blender base that will easily fit into any kitchen. While the Ninja has a few design faults in terms of the blender blades, its blender pitchers hold up well. Be sure you understand what you are in for with the NutriBullet 900 S, a blender shaped like an egg that functions as a small personal blender.

Functions

• The Ninja Mega Kitchen System clearly wins the Functions battle. With the Ninja, you will get a 72 oz Blending Pitcher, a Food Processor Attachment, and 2 Nutri Ninja Cups. All of these bonus functions of the Ninja alone should make it the winner, but it also comes with multiple blending speed abilities. With the NutriBullet, you are really just left with small single serve containers and pulse blending speed.

Overall:

• Between these two blenders, the Ninja 1500 wins out due to its versatility and power. While the NutriBullet 900 serves well as a blender for on the go blending, it really has only limited abilities. With the Ninja 1500 you will receive a more powerful blender and two Nutri Ninja Cups, these features automatically outclass the NutriBullet 900.For the $60 price hike, the Ninja Mega Kitchen System 1500 just gets the job done better in every conceivable field when compared to the NutriBullet.
