Vitamix Pro Series 300 vs Vitamix Pro Sereis 750

Vitamix Pro Series 300 vs Vitamix Pro Series 750
Price:
  • Over $100 separates these two blender on Amazon.com. You will end up getting the better price with the Vitamix Professional Series 300 Blender. Now, the Vitamix Professional Series 750 will offer some great features that the Vitamix 300 lacks, so there is a reason for the price jump. In either case, both of these blenders will cost you more than $500.
Blending Power:
  • Both Vitamix Blenders offer a 2.2 Horsepower Motor. The ultra powerful motors of both the Vitamix Blenders will deliver stellar results. If you are looking for a blender that can handle just about any blending job, both the Vitamix 300 and Vitamix 750 are up to the task.
Design:
  • Each blender is basically identical in design. If buying from Amazon.com, you will notice that a difference in color options exists between the blenders. With the Vitamix 750, you will only be able to get the blender in a bronze finish. The Vitamix 300 offers a black or a red option in blender base. All colors are attractive, but I find the bronze color of the Vitamix 750 best.
Features:
  • Here is where the real difference exists. With the Vitamix 750, you are going to get five extra features in the blender. The Vitamix Company made an ingenious addition to this Vitamix Blender by providing these five functions: (1) Smoothies, (2) Frozen Desserts, (3) Soups, (4) Purees, and (5) Self-Cleaning. These five auto-blend functions are fantastic and really make a great blender into a nearly perfect one. The Vitamix 300 only offers Variable Speeds and a Pulse Function.

Overall:
  • Both Vitamix Blender are near identical. However, the Vitamix 750 offers automated blending functions which make blending so much simpler. These settings literally allow for you to set your blender and forget it. Now, you will have to hand over an extra $100 to get these features, which really makes for a tough decision. If you are a blender pro and love the art of blending, just go for the Vitamix 300 and save the money.

    1. Not really. Modern Vitamix blenders all produce a similar amount of noise while operating. If anything, the Vitamix 750 is a tad louder due to its slightly more powerful motor.

    2. Then why are there claims the V Pro 300 is 40% quieter ????

    3. The Vitamiix website makes this claim for the Vitamix 350:

"Powerful and versatile, the Professional Series 300 offers quieter blending, resulting from enhanced airflow management, similar to Vitamix’s commercial blenders, dramatically reducing noise of the blend by half, or 10 decibels. This feature also improves motor cooling for longer, more robust blending of even the toughest ingredients."

Perhaps there is a huge difference in noise, I think the noise level of both blenders are pretty close. It is not as if one is as quiet as a purring cat, and the other is as loud as a revved up racecar. Both make noise, both should be used in an area where you won't disturb people needlessly.
